7th Period Computer Science Studies

We intend to use the 7th period class at Gibbons Middle School to provide an opt-in class relating to computer science. Students may choose to attend and participate in interactive explorations into computer programming with graphing calculators, Scratch and/or other technologies. Underlying computer science theories will be treated in the process.

Scratch Club

The fellow will support the existing club at Gibbons Middle School which attracts high interest and many participants. Marie Hopkinson is the GMS technology specialist with whom the fellow will be working to promote this beginning programming technology.
