MMEDataDriven
From TeacherWiki
In this class teachers learn about how to use ASSISTments. This includes the basics such as:
- Getting a class started and motivated
- How to use features such as
- Mastery Learning Instructions for ARRS
- Support for Open-Ended Answer Help/teacher/open response/show
- Parent Notification Parent Notification
- Building your own content Building your own content
- Putting your own textbook on line Click here to see the math books other teachers are using
We also look at the important question of what to do with the data. Through readings and sharing of practice teachers are pushed to think outside the box as to what to do now if all or some of the students got it. There are no easy answers but by sharing and discussing practice we move forward in transforming our teaching to be more data driven by formative assessments.

For next week: This is a BIG topic. Over the next three weeks ask yourself:

- Do they know if they have or have not attained the learning objective?
- Do they know what they can do to remedy any deficiencies? Do you know what they try to do? Ask them.
