Who am I
I am a grade seven Mathematics teacher.

Formative Assessment Cycle or Plan for next year
For every unit, we have a pretest to determine our higher level students. Right now we have two of the pretests on Assistments. This summer we will try to get all of the pretests on Assistments. These tests on assistments give the teacher and the students immediate feedback. the report I to look at was the Proficiency Report. It breaks down the students scoreslike they were MCAS scores and shows which students are above or below through standard deviations. The reporet also shows which students are advanced/proficiend, needs improvement, or warning. This data has helped to form groups in the class for the unit and what activities each group can do. Since the pretest is in test mode, I have given it at school and also assigned it for home.
I also want to make more use of the folders and organize my units throughout the year. I may also try the data driven button next year as the next step to homework.
