This page is about how you send and recieve messages. If you are new to assistments this is not the first thing you should be focused on.

Messages

This page is User Role specific. Depending on whether you are a Teacher, Parent or Administrator, the contents of this page differs.

Parents

Parents will see the messages sent to you by the teachers of your children. You will also receive Reports in you Inbox.

Teachers

The view for Teachers will depend on whether you have Parent Notification enabled or not.

Parent Notification Enabled

You will have three link in the submenu: Inbox, Outbox and Send.

Inbox

Here, you will see the messages sent by Administrators, District Administrators and School Administrators.

Outbox

Here, you will see the messages you have sent to your parents.

Send

You can send messages to the parents of your students from this tab. You can select Parents from the drop down box and then navigate through the tree to select individual students or the whole class you want to send the message.

Parent Notification Disabled

You will only have Inbox page where you will find messages sent to you by Administrators, District Administrators and School Administrators.
