Steps to Creating a Student Account

Creating a Student Account and Enrolling in a Class.

If you teach students in your state follow these steps

1. Go to www.assistments.org
2. Click on “Register Now”
3. Select "Student" as your role
4. Select your state
5. Select your school district
   • To quickly jump to your district, select the down arrow and start typing the name
6. Select your school
7. Fill in the information
8. Click on “Sign me up!”

If you teach students in Another State follow these steps

1. Go to www.assistments.org
2. Click on “Register Now”
3. Click on “No”
4. Next "I am" select "Student"
5. Select your school. Tell students not to create a new school. If you have a teacher account, your school will be listed.
   • To quickly jump to your school, select the down arrow and start typing the name
6. Select your school
7. Fill in the information
8. Click on “Sign up”

The login is created automatically

• First Name, Middle Initial, Last Initial, Birth Month, Birth Day
• Single digit birth months or days automatically become double digits by putting a zero in front.
• Example: April 1 will be “0401”

• Have your students write down their login information. It is listed under the account tab.

Enrolling in your Class

• Click on the “Tutor” tab
• Click “Enroll in a Class”

• Find the teacher's name
• Select the correct class
• Select the correct section
• Click on "Enroll"

Where Students Will Go to do the Assignment

• Students will click on "Show Assignments"
